Fig and Raspberry Vodka Spritzer

Fig and Raspberry Vodka Spritzer

It’s Friday!  And starting today we will include a new feature on our site called Fun Drink Friday!!!  We thought this might be an exciting idea because we love to have a drink periodically, especially on Friday and I’m sure many people can relate.  For this first recipe, we decided to create a fruity spritzer using flavorful fresh fruits that are abundantly available this time of year—FIGS AND RASPBERRIES!

In this drink, the fruit is able to take center stage against the vodka.  One variation you might consider is adding mint or another fresh herb.  In one version, we tried adding mint and we did like it but ultimately, we decided to leave it off the final recipe because we wanted the fig and raspberry flavors not to be overshadowed.  But it’s up to you!  That’s the great thing about creating your own cocktails at home, not only is it much much cheaper but drinks are also customizable.  We hope you try out this fun vodka spritzer, hopefully tonight. 🙂
