A Tasty Homemade Hummus

Hummus recipes are a dime a dozen on the internet. We know. However, we can say without reservation that this is our very favorite flavor of hummus. And we make A LOT of hummus!

If you are looking for something new, give this Kalamata olive hummus a try.  If you like olives, you will not be disappointed. The saltiness of the olives combined with the freshness of the parsley produces an amazing flavor.

Recipe Variations and Serving Suggestions

  • Adding a little Spice
    • Feel free to add more red pepper if you like it spicy, but we recommend letting the olives be the dominant flavor.
  • Try Other Types of Olives
    • Another option is to use a different variety of olive… Spanish, Castelvetrano, Mission, and the list goes on. However, there is something special about the combination of Kalamata and fresh parsley.

We recommend serving this hummus with your favorite Mediterranean dishes such as falafel or anything with eggplant or pita. But no matter what you serve alongside this easy hummus, it is sure to be the star! Enjoy!
