Description
An easy homemade hummus featuring canned artichoke hearts and tangy fresh lemon. Delish!
Ingredients

- 1 can (15oz) of your favorite Chickpeas (Also known as Garbanzo beans). Drained and rinsed. Reserving the liquid.
- 1 Jar marinated artichokes with most of the liquid drained.
- Zest of one Lemon
- Juice of same lemon
- 2 T Tahini
- 2 T Olive oil
- 3 Cloves Garlic (or more to taste… I like more) peeled.
Instructions
- Using a citrus zester or a fine grater, zest the lemon trying not to get too much white pith.
- Combine all the ingredients into the food processor.
- Blend on high for 1-1.5 minutes or until completely pureed.
- If hummus looks too dry add some of the liquid you saved from the beans. 1 T at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
