Description
An extra spicy Indian blend perfect for marinating or flavoring a stir fry or curry. This Homemade Fiery Tikka Masala Seasoning brings the heat!
Ingredients

- 2 Tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 2 Tbsp Coriander Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Black Peppercorns
- 12 Dried Chili Peppers
- 12 Cardamom Pods
- 7 Whole Cloves
- 1 Cinnamon Stick
- 2 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 Tbsp Ground Turmeric.
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
Instructions
- Place the cumin seeds, coriander seeds, peppercorns, dried chili, cardamom pods, cloves and cinnamon stick into a fry frying pan. Over medium low heat, toast the spices until very fragrant. Approx. 7 minutes.
- Allow the spices to cool slightly, then add them to a food processor or blender. Blend until very fine. Approx 3 minutes.
- Once the whole spices have been blended, transfer the powder to a bowl and stir in the smoked paprika, turmeric, onion powder and garlic powder.
- Use immediately for a recipe or store in an air-tight container in a cool dry place for up to 3 months.
