This quick and easy side dish is vegan, gluten free, and oh-so-flavorful! Ready in 20 minutes, these delightful green beans are sure to become a family favorite.

½ lb Green Beans (Trimmed)
1 Lemon (Zested and Juiced)
2 Garlic Cloves (Minced)
1 Bunch Fresh Tarragon (Stems Removed, Leaves Minced)
½ tsp Black Pepper
¼ tsp Salt
Instructions
- Wash and prepare the ingredients as directed above.
- In a frying pan with 2 tsp of oil, sauté the garlic for 30 seconds on medium high heat.
- Add the green beans and cook, stirring frequently until the string beans begin to soften.
- Add the lemon juice and stir to combine. Continue to cook until the beans are cooked to your desired tenderness.
- Remove from the heat and add the lemon zest and tarragon. Stir to combine.
- Garnish with sliced almonds (optional) and enjoy!
