Description

This quick and easy side dish is vegan, gluten free, and oh-so-flavorful! Ready in 20 minutes, these delightful green beans are sure to become a family favorite.


Ingredients

½ lb Green Beans (Trimmed)

1 Lemon (Zested and Juiced)

2 Garlic Cloves (Minced)

1 Bunch Fresh Tarragon (Stems Removed, Leaves Minced)

½ tsp Black Pepper

¼ tsp Salt


Instructions

  1. Wash and prepare the ingredients as directed above.
  2. In a frying pan with 2 tsp of oil, sauté the garlic for 30 seconds on medium high heat.
  3. Add the green beans and cook, stirring frequently until the string beans begin to soften.
  4. Add the lemon juice and stir to combine. Continue to cook until the beans are cooked to your desired tenderness.
  5. Remove from the heat and add the lemon zest and tarragon. Stir to combine.
  6. Garnish with sliced almonds (optional) and enjoy!
