A bright and tangy homemade vegan pesto made from sun-dried tomatoes. This easy sun-dried tomato pesto only requires 10 minutes and 4 ingredients to make a delicious twist on traditional pesto. It’s perfect for pizza, pasta, bruschetta, and so much more!
Move Over Basil
There is nothing out there that says pesto has to be made strictly out of basil. Pesto by definition means to crush or pound. So why can’t we crush something else to make an intense flavor concentrated sauce?! Sun-dried tomato pesto, it is!
In this recipe, we pureed sun-dried tomatoes with mounds of garlic and pine nuts to produce an amazing sauce that can go with just about anything.
Additionally, this sauce is so much better than any store-bought pesto because you can control just how much oil you but in it. Therefore, it is also much healthier for you!
Finally, feel free to jazz it up with some herbs if you are so inclined, but it’s honestly so good just the way it is!
