Mudslides!!! This adult beverage will always have a special place in my heart. My college roommate and I loved to make frozen cocktails and it was even my very FIRST alcoholic drink when I turned 21. I mean how can you go wrong with chocolate, ice cream, and throw a little alcohol in the mix?! Well this Frozen Vegan Mint Mudslide is decadent, indulgent, and it will satisfy even the worst sweet tooth.
Here is what you will need:
1. Non-dairy ice cream (vanilla or mint)
2. Vegan dark chocolate chips
3. Kahlúa
4. Crème De Menthe
5. A sprig of fresh mint or sprinkles for garnish
With St. Patrick’s Day quickly approaching, we were looking for a tasty drink to celebrate the luck of the Irish. A Mudslide probably doesn’t immediately pop into your mind like Guinness or Jamison but it does include Crème De Menthe and Kahlúa. Additionally, if you add a sprig of mint or some green sprinkles you also have that pop of green!
Therefore, if you like the combination of mint and chocolate, you NEED to make this Frozen Vegan Mint Mudslide. Whether you are celebrating the Green Isle or simply craving something sweet, this adult drink is sure to please your palate. Bottom’s up!
- 3 oz. Kahlúa
- 1.5 oz. Crème De Menthe
- 2 Tbsp Vegan Dark Chocolate Chips (Melted)
- 3 Scoops Non-Dairy Ice Cream
- 1 Sprig Fresh Mint Leaves (Garnish)
- 5-6 Ice Cubes
- Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or on the stove top over low heat.
- Place all of the ingredients excluding the mint leaves into a blender.
- Blend on high until puréed completely.
- Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with mint leaves and extra chocolate chips.
- Enjoy one or several!
