A Warm Winter Snack
There is just something about being in a warm house (apartment) with slippers and a bowl of Chex Mix. I can still remember as a child when the house would fill with this inviting aroma, as my mother would work away in the kitchen. Now you can have that too!

Description
A vegan chex mix that features crispy multi Grain Cheerios. This delicious snack is perfect for a cold winter night!
Ingredients
- 3 cups Rice Chex
- 3 cups Corn Chex
- 3 cups Wheat Chex
- 3 cups Multi Grain Cheerios
- 1 ½ cups Pretzels
- 9 Tbsp. Vegan Butter
- 4 Tbsp. Vegan Worchestire Sauce
- 1 ½ tsp. Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 3 tsp. Seasoned Salt (We use Lawry’s)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
- In a large bowl combine all your cereals and pretzels mix.
- In a 13×9 oven safe pan place butter tabs and place in oven to melt
- Once melted add worchestire sauce and dry spices stir to combine.
- Pour in dry ingredients with a large wooden spoon carefully stir coat with seasoning. Place back in oven.
- Every 15 minutes for the next hour and a half or so take out and stir to prevent burning and to promote even spice distribution.
- Cover a large counter or table with a single layer of paper towels.
- Spread out finished Chex mix to cool.
- Serve and enjoy!
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature.
