Ingredients
- ¼ Cup Ketchup
- ¼ Cup Hoisin Sauce (Vegan)
- 1 Tbsp Gochujang Paste
- 1 ½ Tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce (or Liquid Aminos)
- 1 Tbsp Mirin
- 3 Cloves Garlic, Crushed
- 1 Inch Fresh Ginger, Peeled and Grated
- 1 Scallion, Thinly Sliced
- 2 Tbsp Sugar
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients as directed above.
- In a medium-sized sauce pan, add all ingredients, but reserve the sugar for last.
- Over medium-heat, stir constantly until the sauce starts to thicken. Remove from heat when desired consistency is obtained.
- Serve with your favorite vegetables or meat substitute. We like to use it as a glaze for tofu or seitan.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to a week.
