Fresno peppers are slightly sweet yet smoky and usually HOT. It often reminds one of a mild serrano chili pepper. These vibrant peppers are a fun twist but still pack the heat.

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Where can I find Fresno Chili Peppers?

    • Fresno peppers may initially appear difficult to find but they are more common that one think. Check your local farmer’s markets or supermarkets including Whole Foods.  They are readily available especially on the West Coast.
  • Will these Poppers be too spicy?

    • Our Advice start slow.  They aren’t overly spicy but it does depend on your heat tolerance. If you have been enjoying spicy peppers for years, these will soon become a favorite.  But if jalapeños are too much for you, than these might be as well.
  • What dairy-free cream cheese should I use?

    • We are always partial to homemade recipes. For our poppers we used this Vegan Jalapeño Cream Cheese that is made from tofu and cashews. The jalapeños can also be omitted for a plain version. But if you are short on time, store-bought cheese works great too.  We are fans of Miyoko’s or Kite Hill.  They are tangy like the real thing with a minimal ingredient list.
